1. What is Time Warner Cable?
Time Warner Cable (formerly Warner Cable Communications) is an American national cable company that operates in 27 states and has 31 operating divisions. It was formed in 1989 as a merger between Time Inc.’s cable television company and Warner Communications.

2. What service can Time Warner provide for me?
In addition, they offer the following:

5. What is CableCARD?
CableCARD is an interface that can be installed into a digital TV to allow access to Time Warner Cable channels and programming without the need for a digital set box. They come in two types: Unidirectional and Open; Unidirectional cards only accepts incoming transmissions for viewing of channels. Open cards do as well, but also allow use of On Demand and interactive features.

6. What is the Digital Broadcast Transition?
Starting in February 2009, all broadcast television will be switched from analog to digital. If you don’t have a television that accepts a digital signal, you will lose service. All Time Warner Cable packages are digital.
